How to report an error
Use the contact page. Include the page URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, why it is inaccurate, and a primary source when possible.
How corrections are handled
- We check the claim against current primary documentation and any relevant independent evidence.
- We correct material factual errors promptly when the evidence supports a change.
- We distinguish factual corrections from disagreements about editorial judgment.
- For a substantial change to a recommendation, we update the explanation and fact-check date rather than silently changing the conclusion.
Provider requests
Affiliate status or commercial pressure does not guarantee a requested edit. Providers may submit evidence through the same process, and the editorial standard remains unchanged.
